Each session is carefully structured to guide you through each movement, providing clear instructions and adjustments to ensure you feel confident and comfortable.
Here’s a breakdown of what to expect in each class:
Each Class is an Hour in length.
The beginning of the class usually starts with a couple of brain body exercises, and then body tapping, which helps to strengthen your bones, which is essential for healthy ageing. Body tapping also stimulates your bone marrow, which means good blood cell production. Tapping also stimulates your mitochondria, which is responsible for bringing new energy into the body.
Boy tapping also helps with clearing your lymphatic system, which is responsible for getting all the nasty stuff out of the body. In the classes, we encourage the members to body tap often, because of the health benefits.
After the body tapping there are circulation exercises, then stretching to open up the meridians of the body, and then joint opening. There is usually an easy sequence to follow.
This is followed by a Ji Gam meditation, allowing you to connect more deeply with the bio-photons coming out of your hands. Members can feel this energy in the first class, but not always. We are all different, so this is up to the individual.
Then there is a meditation, either with breathing or with movement. And then the class is wrapped up traditionally, with an energy centring routine, and an intention.
At the Bright Beings Academy, we believe that Qi Gong is more than just a physical practice. It’s a holistic approach that nurtures the mind,
body, and spirit. Here’s how each part of the practice contributes to your overall well-being:
Physical Health:
The gentle movements help improve flexibility, strengthen muscles, and support joint health. It’s ideal for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Benefits can be felt as soon as the first class is over, but not always.
Mental Clarity:
By focusing on breath and movement, Qi Gong helps clear mental clutter and improve concentration.
