Start/Stop controls
Beat (AM) — A soft amplitude‑modulated pulse that gently rides the tone. Smooth and speaker‑friendly. Good general choice.
Pure Tone — A continuous, steady note with no modulation. Subtle and simple; ideal for quiet background support.
Binaural Beat — Two close tones split left/right; your brain perceives the difference as a beat. Headphones required. Smooth, understated entrainment.
Isochronic Tone — The tone pulses on/off at a set rate. Speakers are fine. Clear and more obvious than binaural.
Which to pick? Start with Beat (AM) or Pure Tone. Use Binaural with headphones for gentle sessions;
Isochronic when you want crisp pacing on speakers.
Choose one intention for this session (calm, focus, creative flow, or integrated balance).
Select Beat Mode based on your setup and preference (see guide above).
Load a preset (e.g., Settle Root) — presets start quietly to protect your ears.
Begin with low levels. You should be able to speak comfortably over the sound.
Shape with the faders:
Root → grounding, body sense, parasympathetic settling.
Fire → tidy alertness, motivation, clean drive.
Flow → creativity, connection, flexible attention.
Adjust slowly and wait 15–30 seconds to feel the effect before changing again.
Set the timer and let the fade‑out close the session gently; sit for a minute of quiet integration.
Tip: If things feel edgy, raise Root, reduce Fire, and keep overall volume lower.
Use these practical associations as gentle pointers; follow your experience.
Root — Settle & Ground
Steadies the nervous system, supports presence and embodied calm. Great after busy periods.
Fire — Focus & Drive
Bright, organised attention and get‑it‑done energy. Use modestly if you feel wound up.
Flow — Creativity & Connection
Flexible, associative thinking and social ease. Lovely for ideation and reflective writing.
Simple pairings: Calm Focus: Root + Fire (low) • Creative Ease: Flow + Root • Reset: Root only, very gentle.
Settle Root (12–15 mins): Beat (AM), Root low‑moderate; Fire & Flow very low.
Soothe Fire (15–20 mins): Pure Tone, Root steady; Fire low; Flow whisper in final 3 minutes.
Expand Flow (12–18 mins): Binaural Beat (headphones), Flow low; add Root softly for stability.
Integrated Balance (20–25 mins): Isochronic Tone (speakers), Root/Fire/Flow all low; keep pulses gentle; short quiet sit at the end.
Too stimulating? Lower Fire, switch to Pure Tone, and reduce master level.
Flat or sleepy? Bring Fire up a touch or try Isochronic for a clearer pace.
Uneasy or ungrounded? Raise Root slightly and keep Flow gentle.
No sound? Check master/device output; press Start (browsers may block autoplay).

Which Beat Mode should I start with?
Try Beat (AM) for gentle pacing on speakers, or Pure Tone for subtle background support.
How loud should I listen?
Quiet is best. You should be able to talk comfortably over the sound.
How long should a session be?
Begin with 10–20 minutes, extend to 30–45 minutes if comfortable.
Can I use this daily?
Yes for most people at low volume. If you feel overstimulated, shorten sessions and choose Pure Tone.
